Performance-Based Interview Coaching
Step 1 of the InterviewReady coaching system: Be real. Gather career facts, organize experience, and build stronger interview answers.

You're qualified.

You just need a better way to explain why.

Step 2 of the InterviewReady system: Be Ready. Apply your interview system, practice the process, refine, and optimize your performance.

Your experience matters.

How you communicate it matters more.

Your job search is stalled and you can't figure out why.

You're getting interviews, so your resume is doing its job.

You know you're an excellent fit for the position; you have the experience and track record to excel.

But other candidates are being selected, and you can’t figure what is going wrong.

You do the research.

You prepare answers.

You believe you are ready.

And you leave interviews feeling like whatever you did was not enough.

Critical details were left out, examples skipped over, and you know you did not showcase the best version of who you are.

You keep asking yourself:

What should I have done differently?

What else did they need to hear?

Is getting hired impossible?

Is there anything I can do about it?

This isn't a talent or ability problem.

It's an awareness problem. ...and it's completely solvable.

InterviewReady gives you the tools to get control over your job search results.

About InterviewReady

InterviewReady is a performance-based interview coaching program built from nearly 30 years in talent acquisition, over 10,000 interviews, and direct insight into how hiring decisions are actually made.

It is a systems and process driven approach to solving a complex challenge - one that focuses on the specific solutions that will enable you to be more successful in high impact, high stress situations, like an interview.

We help candidates:

  • Identify what is not working in their job search

  • Build a repeatable system for preparing for and managing interviews and other high pressure conversations

  • Learn how to communicate their value in a way that resonates with decision makers

  • Adopt a structured process to master STAR interviews and answer behavioral questions with depth and precision

  • Optimize their resume

  • Navigate the job search

  • Handle offer conversations with confidence

You already have the experience.

InterviewReady gives you the system to prove it.

Feedback matters.

We all want feedback so we can improve. But when it comes to interviewing, we are at an impasse.

Candidates ask, and what they get is silence, or ambiguous, boilerplate, unspecific, and ultimately unhelpful comments.

If you are able to get more specific feedback from anybody involved in your hiring process, consider it a gift. Use it to the best of your ability to reflect on how you can change your approach and improve your results.

Most candidates are left feeling frustrated. They know something isn't working, but nobody is telling them what. And how are you supposed to fix something if you don't understand what is broken?

So what's the solution? You need feedback that comes from diverse experience, a broad perspective, and a long enough career to have seen it all. You need solutions and recommendations that actually work. Short-term or superficial quick fixes are not going to reliably change your interview results. You need to build a solid foundation and a system that enables better outcomes.

That's why I created InterviewReady. Three decades in talent acquisition, working with thousands of candidates and decision makers, taught me how the hiring process actually works. I use that experience to give candidates the feedback and insight they need to make the right changes, lifetime solutions that go far beyond tailoring a resume or memorizing interview answers.

The InterviewReady program gets at the core of how you position yourself and how you systematically improve your interview outcomes.

A Note from Susan

Susan Callaghan, talent acquisition leader and founder of InterviewReady, in a lifestyle photo showing her passion for Kenpo Karate and spending time with her miniature poodle, Pierre.

My purpose, and a bit of information about me:

I started my talent acquisition career three decades ago and have seen a lot of transitions take place along the way. My career has been rewarding in many ways, but the most important has been being part of a major life event for so many people. Our jobs often define us, and I have infinite respect for how career transitions impact each and every one of us - and deep gratitude for being included in that for so many people.

I built InterviewReady because I kept seeing the same thing: talented people losing opportunities not because of their experience, but because they couldn't clearly explain what they have done and why it mattered. When you add the trifecta of transitions affecting hiring today, overcoming this can feel overwhelming. I have made it my purpose to apply my depth and length of experience to helping people find a solution to what is preventing them from getting the job they want.

Outside of work I study kenpo karate, enjoy lifting stupidly heavy weights, am managed by Pierre Poodle, and continue to apply my belief that doing hard things on purpose is the best way to keep growing. I am also known for finding creative and unconventional solutions to everyday problems - which comes in handy more often than you'd think.

Transformation is a gift - and to share that experience with others is inspiring.

Gratitude

“When I began my search, I was discouraged by the transactional nature of traditional outplacement services. I felt isolated, uncertain, and unsure how to position myself in a changing market. Then, at exactly the right time, Susan reached out through LinkedIn, and everything shifted.

She brought far more than career coaching as she became a trusted advisor, strategist, and steady source of encouragement during a very difficult transition. From refining my STAR stories and resume to sharpening executive communication, interview approach, and market positioning, her guidance was thoughtful, insightful, and highly tailored.

What truly set her apart was the level of care, consistency, and belief she brought to the process.

She helped me rebuild confidence, maintain momentum, and recognize the value I bring to the table.

The quality of conversations and opportunities I’m receiving today is directly connected to her partnership and expertise.
